TradieCrews ("we", "us", "our") operates a digital marketplace platform connecting customers, homeowners, businesses, contractors and tradies in Australia. By using TradieCrews you agree to these Terms.
Platform disclaimer
TradieCrews acts only as a marketplace platform connecting users. We do not employ tradies, do not supervise work, do not guarantee job quality, do not verify all licences or qualifications, do not provide construction services, do not participate in agreements between users and do not guarantee payment or job completion.
Independent contractors
Tradies and businesses using TradieCrews are independent contractors and are NOT employees, agents or representatives of TradieCrews.
No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TradieCrews makes no representations or warranties regarding work quality, licences, insurance, payment, identity, reliability, safety or completion timeframes of any user.
User responsibility
Users are solely responsible for verifying licences, checking insurance and qualifications, checking ABN details, reviewing references and conducting their own due diligence before engaging another user.
Limitation of liability
TradieCrews is not liable for property damage, personal injury, negligence, incomplete work, scams, theft, disputes, financial losses, damages caused by users, offline interactions or work quality issues arising from use of the platform.
Indemnity
Users agree to indemnify and hold TradieCrews harmless from any claims, losses, legal costs, damages or disputes arising from their use of the platform.
Subscriptions & pricing
TradieCrews may change pricing, end promotions, modify features or introduce new subscriptions at any time, with reasonable notice where required.
Force majeure
TradieCrews is not responsible for outages, hacks, downtime, natural disasters, payment processor failures or technical interruptions outside our reasonable control.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Account termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, extended inactivity, or operational needs. We will provide notice where practicable.
Intellectual property
Users retain ownership of content they submit but grant TradieCrews a non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce and distribute that content on the platform and in marketing materials.
Age requirement
Users must be at least 18 years old. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement. We may terminate accounts found to belong to minors.
Content you submit
You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you submit, including licence numbers, ABNs, qualifications, insurance details and work history. Providing false or misleading information may result in account termination.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law where those rights apply.
