TradieCrews was born from a simple frustration: finding a trusted tradie shouldn't be a gamble. Three mates with different skills came together to solve a problem they all saw.
Why We Exist
Every day across Australia, tradies and homeowners alike face the same headache: who can you actually trust? Fake reviews, unverified credentials, and unreliable word-of-mouth often lead to dead ends. The current system is broken.
Our co-founder, David, saw this firsthand running an accounting practice. David’s tradie clients, plumbers, electricians, and builders were constantly asking for reliable business recommendations. At the same time, homeowners were asking those same tradies who they trusted. The problem was clear: there was no verified, reliable way to connect great tradespeople with the clients who need them.
To fix this, David teamed up with Paul, an expert in scaling digital products, and Santosh, a technical powerhouse who makes complex systems work flawlessly. Together, they built TradieCrews, a platform where verification isn’t just an option; it’s the foundation.

An Australian accountant working on the frontline with local trades every day, David repeatedly heard the same frustration from his clients: "Do you know a good sparkie, plumber, or chippy?" Recognising a broken system fueled by fake reviews and unverified recommendations, he set out to build a solution. David provides the strategic vision and deep industry insights that ensure TradieCrews genuinely serves the trade community.

A seasoned IT specialist and successful e-commerce entrepreneur, Paul bridges the gap between a great idea and a seamless digital experience. He brings the technical product know-how required to build a platform that tradies actually want to use. Paul’s focus is simple: design intuitive, real-world digital tools that solve everyday business challenges.
Santosh
Co-Founder & Engineering
A high-caliber full-stack ninja developer with skin in the game, Santosh lives and breathes code. He has built the TradieCrews platform from the ground up, prioritizing speed, ironclad reliability, and a flawless user experience.
